Who I am

The founder of Schoolhouse Collaborative, Inc, Shelley Lawrence M.Ed, CPCC, ACC is a certified coach and consultant who works with individuals, educators, and parents to engage in deep self-reflection, identify values, and set goals to live a more fulfilling life.

Coaching was a huge part of her twenty years as a school leader. She coached teachers as they looked to advance their careers and as they navigated difficult conversations. In addition, Shelley coached parents through challenges with their children and disagreements with their children’s teachers. Coaching was the best part of her job.

Shelley opened Schoolhouse Collaborative, Inc. to partner with people on their journey through transitions, helping them to lead fulfilling, meaningful lives. She prides herself in creating a warm, nurturing environment where the client can feel safe taking risks and dreaming big.

Shelley Lawrence was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History, California and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and M.Ed from UCLA. She is also a certified Co-Active Coach. When she’s not thinking about coaching and education, Shelley enjoys baking sourdough bread, cheering on the Dodgers and UCLA, and exercising.
